Recreational Diving

   I started diving when I took a Discover Scuba trip while on a cruise with Reef Divers in Saint Thomas. I was immediately intrigued and wanted to learn more and get certified. Soon after I started an Open Water course with Pan Aqua Diving in Brookfield, CT. After classroom training my pool dives were completed at Canterbury School in New Milford, CT.  I  then completed my open water dives in a private Quarry in Wingdale, NY. These dives in a full 7mm wetsuit were a lot different than the warm water Discover Scuba dives I did in Saint Thomas! Cold water. Low visibility. More gear. I decided to take Advanced Open Water to get in more dives and network with other divers until I felt confident enough to venture out on my own. I did quit a few lake dives around Connecticut before I booked my first dive trip to Grand Cayman.
